Artist's Comments

This piece is heavily influenced by from a piece called "Samurai Sunset" by David Rivera, later colored by Sean Ellery. This piece is paying homage to their work.

This was done with Poser for the character, Vue for the landscape and Photoshop CS2 for painting the piece.
This was a practice in postwork for me, getting my feet wet so to speak. I had a lot of fun with this piece and learned a lot in the process.

I really like this the best, the silhouette is prefect and the color blend is more subtle yet vivid to make her and the tree stand out but not dominate.
