This scene is so futuristic and gorgeous, the nebulae as a bright background is full of colour and stars but it does not divert the viewer from the main figure of the girl. She is floating in the space about to catch a sphere which seems intriguing because one does not know if it's filming her or it's a kind of weapon. I like the idea of high tech + powerful women and the scene is simply wonderful. I love the colours you used, blue and purple with a hint of fuchsia.

Heya!

OK, Overall this is amazing - the detail and lighting on the model and on all the mechanical stuff is excellent! However, it is that area that my suggestions lie...

-Because of all the objects visible in the scene and the brightness of the nebula behind her, the lighting in this scene would be anything but simple. You've done a great job with it but there are a few areas that could use some adjustments. First, the woman's but and thigh almost seem to be lit from a white light coming from either below her or from her foot. Her hand behind her body has a similar light source. However, there is very little tell of this lighting anywhere else on her body. So in these areas I'd suggest adding some blue to the white light to signify its source as the nebula. If it actually Is coming from her foot+hand, then I'd suggest adding a summer-sun-on-pavement -distortion as though she's actually propelling herself along (an Ironman-like idea here:D)

-Next, the red lights. I'm not sure exactly what the red lights signify (although I have a strang feeling they're her eyes), but you've done a very good job with both the lights and the tentacles their attached to. The tentacles seem to have a similar white-light-source to her thigh and hand, so I'd once again suggest adding some blue to them. However, the red lights on teh ends of the tentacles seem to have very little reflected light at all. I'd suggest adding some faint red highlights around the tentacle-lights, where they come closest to the woman's body (the one near her waist would probably have a faint highlight on her bra too).

-Lastly, the only things in the scene that actually looks out of place. On the left side there is a metal-trinket floating in space that seems to be the only blurry object in the scene. Was this done intentionally?:) Also, I just noticed the two bullets floating in space around her - there may be more but I have only noticed two. The two bullets seem a little random, and once you notice them they give the scene a more violent feel... In my opinion the bullet are unnecessary - the scene would still look great without them. If you do keep them in though, I'd suggets adding a little more violet/blue to the highlights on the bullets to better connect them with the rest of the scene.

Anyways, this is amazing! Even without my petty 3 comments it still beats the socks off of anything I can do!!:D

i love the glow effect on the skin tone! your people have a very distinct style to them--smooth and somewhat surrealist, which i find incredibly appealing. your anatomy skills are fantastic, too!
