Lucius Aurelius Constantine

Born sometime during the decline of the Roman Empire. The exact year and origins are unknown. Served as a Centurion before being promoted to Pilus Prior and served as an advisor to his legion's commander. Was left for dead after his Legion was massacared by the Visigoths at the bloody Battle of Adrianople. He watched Roman Emperor Valens take his last breath just before Lucius himself was seemingly mortaly wounded. He was abandoned by his own men as he tried to hold the line against a charging Visigoth cavalry.

Battlefields were a great opportunity for thieves and scavengers alike, as well as a calling to older, darker forgotten evils. One such evil found Lucius that faithful night, and in an unholy pact embraced him in his final hour. Lucius did not die that fateful night, nor did he live...what became of him was something far worse.

This evil was a creature of the night, a high elder of the Nosferatu. She was one of the ancients who would be known later as the dreaded Baroness Sangre. Advisor to Vlad Tepes lll, Prince of Wallachia. She is an infamous noble known for her extremely bloody exploits, as well as being a ruthless defender of Wallachia against Ottoman Empire in the later 1400's. But that is a different story...

Lucius Aurelius Constantine died August 9th, 378 A.D. Yet he would "live" to see the eventual fall of the Roman empire, and see the world with new eyes. This is where his story truely begins...
