We have a project at the moment, and we would like your help.
We are looking to redesign the look of our group as well as our format.
We would like for our group design to represent the Fantasy genre and be presented in a unique professional manor.
We are looking to develop a specific brand logo and icon.
One that defines the groups and is instantly recognizable.
Our requirements include:
Professional looking Logo and icon development, banner, custom social media icons, gallery backgrounds and possibly more.
We are looking for artists and designers.
You do not have to be proficient in coding (html, CSS etc).

Hello everyone,
deviantART has given me the opportunity to perform two Community Volunteer positions here:
I am the Science Fiction and Space Art Community Volunteer.
I am also now the new 3 Dimensional Art Community Volunteer.
One of the duties of these positions is that I can feature artwork from these categories as Daily Deviations.
I browse through these categories daily in search of deviations to feature as Daily Deviations.
This feature is to help the artist and their work gain more exposure, and it's genre and/or medium gains more community awareness as well.
But I need your help.

I have just recently received the opportunity to become the "Science Fiction and Space Art" Community Volunteer Gallery Moderator here on deviantART.
I am looking for "Science Fiction and Space Art" deviations to feature as Daily Deviations, and you can help.

#Realm-of-Fantasy is running a weekly "Give a Feature, Get a Feature" in our group. Do you have a favorite Fantasy/SciFi piece on deviantART? Or maybe you know of a Fantasy/SciFi piece that just isn't getting enough exposure? Would you like to get a little exposure yourself? Well, here is the time and place to speak up.

What is a Daily Deviation?

The Daily Deviation is a daily feature chosen from the galleries here on deviantART.

A small assortment of submissions are chosen each day by a select group of staff/volunteer members who wish to showcase an image which they found impressive or otherwise interesting enough to deserve being brought to the attention of the community-at-large.

The staff/volunteer members responsible for selecting submissions for the daily feature often are open to suggestions and individual community members may direct their attention by noting the appropriate Community Volunteer or staff member with a direct link to the deviation which you are suggesting and a brief description about why you think the work in question should be featured.

How To Suggest a Daily Deviation:

-Find a deviation on deviantART that you would like to see featured.

-Take notice of the deviations category. Example: Traditional, Digital etc

-Find the appropriate deviantART Gallery Moderator that Moderates the category that the deviation is in.
Links are provided in this Blog that show every Moderator and their Respective Sections.

-Send a note to the Gallery Moderator. Title: "Daily Deviation Suggestion" or something to that effect

-Make sure you paste the link and/or thumbnail of the deviation you are suggesting in the note (preferably a thumbnail)
The "thumb" code is on the right side of each image description. Copy the thumb code, it will show a thumbnail of the image when pasted in the note.

-Leave a short description of why you think the piece should become a DD if you wish.

-Send note

Some things you should know

Anyone can suggest a daily deviation. Suggesting someones work for a DD could give that artist the opportunity to reach a much larger audience and gain more exposure. It only takes a few minutes, and it will really make someones day. Try to suggest one as often as possible!

Remember that as a general rule recipients must wait at least 6 months from receiving their last DD before they are eligible for a new one. So if a person has received a DD in the last 6 months, wait a while before suggesting another of their works.

Certain Gallery Moderators and Staff may have specific details on how to suggest Daily Deviations to them. I suggest that you scan their front page for any specific information before suggesting one.

Moderators do receive a lot of suggestions, so not every piece that you suggest may become a DD.
Also keep in mind that due to the sheer volume of notes that Gallery Moderators receive, you may or may not receive a reply.
So be remain both persistent and patient, and your diligence will pay off!
Remember that you are doing this as an act of kindness.

Are there other members of the team except Tiganusi & StudioFove who I can send a photography suggestion? They seem to be a bit busy right now because they have not read the notes for about two weeks now and I'm afraid their inboxes could explode if I send them to much notes.

There's this row of deviations that show up at the bottom of the home page. Most of the time, I suggest them for deviations. They seem really good.

30-40 DDs suggested, 7 got featured

Many notes I've sent are still unread. For the others, I rarely got a reply (the current fractal GM always replies though

).
I'm more than glad that I could make those 7 deviants happy and provided them the exposure they deserved, but I confess I would have appreciated a little reply (even a copypaste one) for my notes... Politeness, nothing more I ask for

I hear what your saying, I really do. But I can't imagine how many notes they get a day. They must be very busy and responding to each and every message would most likely take up a lot if not most of their time. I simply run a couple of groups here on deviantART and my message center is an absolute train-wreck, and I process it daily. Slightly different circumstances, but you get the point. While it would be nice to receive a response to either confirm or decline, I don't blame them at all if they don't.

So I personally take no offense if I do not receive a reply to suggesting a DD. I simply suggest and move on.

yup, I know, I understand and I agree with you

I didn't give up suggesting, though I do that less often than before.
I just personally think that the suggester gets more "demotivated" by the "I'm ignored" or "It seems like spending my time providing suggestion just annoys the GM" feeling rather than the "my suggestion wasn't featured" feeling. It's a negative attitude I've seen very often on DD related polls, journals etc... and I admit I felt a little demoralized because of this as well

My only wish was for them to have an abstract section under traditional. They break down the photography into several categories but there are also several categories that should be under traditional as well
