Hello everyone,
I have just recently received the opportunity to become the "Science Fiction and Space Art" Community Volunteer Gallery Moderator here on deviantART.
I am looking for "Science Fiction and Space Art" deviations to feature as Daily Deviations, and you can help.
If you know of any submissions that you think should gain more exposure and be Featured as a Daily Deviation,
and they are "Science Fiction and/or Space Art"related, send me a DD Suggestion via note.
I have info on my front page regarding how to suggest a DD if you have any questions.
I would prefer suggestions for artists that have less exposure and little to no previous DD's,
but I am not against awarding a Daily Deviation to worthy art from a more well known and decorated artist.
I simply want to try to focus on putting a spotlight on lesser known artists that have amazing art to share, so that their work may be seen and enjoyed by a much wider audience.
I not only want to help artists gain more exposure, but also to help promote the Science Fiction and Space Art genres here on deviantART.
The more people that suggest Daily Deviations, the more this helps your fellow artists and the genre here on deviantART in general. And you can make a difference with both.
Simply get out there, check out the "Science Fiction" and Space Art" Galleries and send me those Daily Deviations Suggestions.
You just might help an artist gain more exposure, and it will really make someones day in the process.

Practically every CV position is Medium based, with "Sci-fi and Space Art" being the only genre based exception to the rule.
I had inquired about the possibility of a "Fantasy" Mod, but due to the difficulties in which a genre sub category based area of influence such as "Sci-fi" poses in a medium driven format I doubt that another genre based "Fantasy" position will be a viable option any time in the near future.
It does create some interesting jurisdictional crossover obstacles to overcome with the categories and their respective CV's.
The "Sci-fi and Space Art" CV position has always been more of an experimental position, on the fringe.
I don't know if deviantART is ready for another one just yet. But I will keep mentioning it to the powers that be.
But I digress...
In the meantime if something has a sci-fi related influence, feel free to suggest it to me.
Don't be discouraged, no one is an instant success.

Also we have some exception Literature Community Volunteers of whom I strongly suggest you seek in regards to suggesting DD's to. They have a much more complex focus of the art form of Literature, and are specialized in featuring deviations from that medium.
